D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths

A great resource to teach Greek mythology, providing the background and fleshing out the details of the stories behind the gods and goddesses. This is a perfect time to teach children what God says about false gods. The book lends cultural insight into the time in which Christ was born. The illustrations are incredible, and the text is fun to read. It may also spur activities like a "Zeus' Family Reunion" or an incredible "Greek Feast."
