Students will learn to write well-crafted paragraphs, essays, poetry, and various forms of fiction and non-fiction. This course is designed to introduce students to writing clearly and cogently. Students will learn to write for discovery, analysis and communication. Students will review basic grammar, study of voice, structure and connection. Students will write essays, learn to move from opinion to thesis, and even write forms of fiction and non-fiction. This is a transitional course designed to equip students for VSA Composition I. Homework will average 3 - 4 hours per week.
Composition Transition is taught by an expert instructor in the Veritas Virtual Classroom and is limited to only 20 students per course.
