Understanding the abstractions of calculus requires far more than limited exposure. In this course future mathematicians, scientists, and engineers will incrementally build and reinforce their knowledge through continual practice and review. Following a condensed summary of key algebra, trigonometry, and analytic geometry topics, students explore limits, functions, and the differentiation and integration of variables. Calculus I Saxon meets the Approved Math course requirement for the VSA Associate Level diploma only. Homework will average 5 - 6 hours per week.
Calculus I Saxon is taught by an expert instructor in the Veritas Virtual Classroom and is limited to only 20 students per course.
Courses begin September 5th and end May 18th. To view the complete Academic Calendar click HERE.
Minimum age of 12 on the first day of class. Successful completion of VSA Pre-Calculus Saxon or comparable course in the previous 24 months is strongly encouraged.
